In our recent move, we have been sorting through our belongings trying to decide what stays and what goes. It’s been fun to go through the memories of where we’ve been and to dream about where we are going.
Although I’m referencing this in a literal sense, I also think this is true in a figurative sense. Our minds and hearts can be a lot like these boxes. We label them and carry them from place to place. But could it be time to unpack them? As we sort through the them, what should stay and what needs to go?
May we unpack it all with the Lord and let Him help us declutter or let go of what we need to and treasure the things He would lead us to keep to take with us all the way to our eternal home.
